The Tourist Consortium of the Navarrese Pyrenees is a collective initiative, a civil association without moneymaking non-profit-making knit together public and private entities, decided to work for the development of the tourist sustainable section of the region.
"For any neighbour of any village of the Navarrese Pyrenees, is an honour to preside and work in an entity with the objectives that wants the Consortium.
Is the first experience of the association that has transcended the limits of our isolated villages and valleys. The first who join the public and private entities with an objective: work together for the development tourist sustainable in the Navarrese Pyrenees. It has been and it is today also, rural and tourism development example for a lot of rural regions. Is, although the difficulties derivates of a declined demographic situation, little social dynamism, difficult in the communications (roads and internet), political little help, etc, an enthusiastic project for all the people implicated in it.
As mine predecessor said in the presidency of this consortium, perhaps the words hosts and invited are the best to resume the culture of encounter and respect that we want to life and share. The pleasure of travel, know, learn and share, wonder go back what move us to follow with our work.
All of you are invited, we wait you in the virtual navigation and especially in our villages and valleys."
